web design

Wow. I did terrible on this project, mostly due to the fact that that technical difficulty happened. I will explain what happened. First off, I suck at web design, though it was fun when it worked. I used my time effectively when it worked, but sadly thats where it ends. i couldn't get a screen capture so instead, i present the dog to you.

semester thoughts

1 I learned that I am very good with animation, and that i get it done quickly.

2 The knowledge that i don't have yet

3 loved working with people

4 would make animation 2 less sloppy.

5 again, I'm great with animation.

Elevator Pitch

I am a Life Scout, and an e-comm student who had a really good start in animation, and is good with camera angles. People compliment on how quick a worker I am. I am a very hard worker if I am motivated, which I constantly am, so I can get my dream job. My inspiration (and dream job) is Nintendo which I intend to be a 3-D animator.

10 words

This is my ten words project. I did pretty well, for someone who has barely used photoshop. I wasn't able to get the fade effect working, so i just left it as it was.

The arc ball

For this next project i made a ball bounce in an arc shape. I increased the length of the animation to support the arcs. I also gave it a face. I feel like this one was a bit choppy so i intend to fix it in the next one.

Bouncing ball animation project

All week i have been working on a project which is this. It is a bouncing ball.

This was used for the stretch and squish method. It is over exaggerated which shows speed.

Next time ill add more frames. It looks too choppy.

I really don't have much to say here.

Social media

This week, we read an article about social media. It told us about how we should be careful with what we post. It could mean the difference between getting into college or failing to do so.

I think that it is important to avoid saying things you regret. It doesn't matter if you delete it, its still technically there. Once damage has been done, it can't be undone.

handwriting

The first thing i did this week was make my name logo. I made it completely form rectangles. It was pretty easy to do. I dod have to change the margin bit though.


The next thing i made was a sketch book where i wrote my name. I am terrible at handwriting. It was simple though. I wrote my name 4 times and then wrote 10 adjectives that described me.

the presentation

When i was working on this project, i learned that i need to look professional so that i can keep other peoples attention towards me. I also learned to quit stuttering to make it sound better. If you keep eye contact with people, they will be more engaged.


Bill Gates was smart about his attire. He wasn't very fancy despite being super rich. Bjorn had a good start for his presentation. He hooked them by using humor. Jamie also did well. He did pretty good at all the aspects needed to follow.

As for my presentation, i think i could have done better. I was super nervous, so that didn't help. I guess i was worried about people judging me based off of what i liked. It has always worried me. I just want to be liked by everyone based off of what like and my personality.

The sketchbook

For my first assignment in the sketch book i drew a logo. It was from my favorite game called undertale. I drew it because it was the first thing that popped in my head. I decided not to use color in the picture because it wouldn't need it till i made it on illustrator.

Thinking about color

My favorite color is blue. It reminds me of water. It also reminds me of the sky. It tis truly special to me because it is a beautiful color.

I don't dislike any colors. They are all beautiful in their own way. No picture is complete with out certain colors. That is why I don't dislike any.

Illustrator Experience

This week I finally got to use adobe illustrate! I got to use 5 different shapes. My project was a rainy field. The grass was shaded in a way to give off a depressing feel. I also learned about color theory. The way it effects your mind is interesting.


I could not figure out how to change the colors of the run so they just stayed black. I wanted to try using a line editor but i couldn't do that either. So then thats how the picture ended up.

Sidewalk Chalk Group

My group learned that its ok to make mistakes and that nobody is perfect. We had a lot of trouble but, a lot of fun as well. The rain was washing away the chalk, but we kept drawing. Some of us were not as good at drawing, but it didn't stop us.
